Mint Chutney

Ingredients:
  • Mint 1/4 cup
  • Coriander 1/2 cup
  • Onion 1/4 cup
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Green chili 5nos.
  • Tamarind Size of marble
  • Coconut 2tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 3 tsp
  • Mustard 1/2 tsp
  • Urad dal 1/2 tsp
  • Chana dal 1tbsp
  • water



Method:
  1. Heat a pan, add 2tsp of oil.
  2. Add chana dal, onion, mint, coriander, garlic, green chili, tamarind and coconut.
  3. Fry them well.
  4. Cool it and grind to a fine paste with little water and salt.
  5. Switch it to a bowl.
  6. Now heat the remaining oil, add mustard, when splatters add urad dal. Fry until the dal changes to light brown and pour on top of the chutney.
  7. Serve with snacks or breakfast.
