- 4 cups Spinach chopped
- 1 cup Paneer cubes
- 1/2 cup Onion finely chopped
- 4-6 Green chillies
- 1" piece Ginger
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala
- 2 tbsp Fresh cream
- 3 tbsp Oil
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Wash and chop the spinach.
- Put chopped spinach in a microwave safe bowl, close the lid partially and microwave for 3 mins.
- Allow to cool.
- In a blender add the spinach and puree it. Keep aside.
- Grind ginger and green chillies to a coarse paste, keep aside.
- Heat a pan add oil, fry paneer until light brown on all sides. Remove and keep aside.
- Now in the same pan add onion and fry till golden brown.
- Add the ginger and chili paste. Fry them well.
- Now add coriander powder, turmeric powder and garam masala.
- Saute them all well.
- Now add the pureed spinach, if thick dilute with little water.
- Allow to boil.
- Now add 1 tbsp of cream, fried paneer cubes and salt.
- Close the lid and simmer for 2 mins.
- Transfer to a serving bowl.
- Decorate it with remaining cream.
- Serve hot with naan, chapati, parata, etc..
