- 2 cups Gram flour (Besan)
- 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
- 2 tsp Hot oil
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying
- Water
Method:
- Take a bowl, add gram flour, salt, asafoetida and hot oil.
- Mix well, now add water little by little.
- Make a tight solid dough.
- Now put this dough in a sev machine.
- Heat oil in a kadai.
- When hot press the machine in the oil.
- The dough comes out in a form of thin noodles.
- Fry it on both the sides.
- Remove and allow to cool.
- Now break it into small pieces.
- Sev is ready.
Note:
- For nylon sev use the a plate with very fine holes for the machine.
