- 2 cups Cauliflower florets
- 1 cup Green peas (fresh/frozen)
- 2 Bay leaves
- 1 Tomato pureed
- 2 tbsp Yogurt
- 3 tsp Oil
- Salt to taste
Ingredients For Masala:
- 1 Onion
- 2 tbsp Shredded Coconut
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 2 tsp Coriander seeds (dhania)
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1/2" Ginger
- 2 tsp Poppy seeds
- 6 Whole Red chillies
Method:
- Wash the cauliflower florets and peas.
- In a microwave safe bowl add the florets and peas.
- Add 1tsp of oil and microwave by closing the lid slightly for 4 mins.
- Now grind the ingredients for masala with little water to a fine paste.
- Heat a kadai or wok. Add remaining oil, add bay leaves.
- Now add the grounded masala paste and fry until the raw smell leaves.
- Add puree of one tomato and curd. Fry well.
- Now add the vegetables, pour little water and salt. Mix it.
- Close the lid and cook for 5mins, check if the vegetables are cooked and transfer to a serving bowl.
- Garnish with coriander.
- Serve with paratha, chapati, etc..
