Besan Laddoo
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Bengal gram flour (besan)
- 1/3 cup Ghee
- 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 2 tsp Pistachois grated
Method:
- In a microwave safe bowl add gram flour and ghee and mix well.
- Microwave for 3 mins. Do not close the lid.
- Stir after every 1 minute.
- You can see the bubbles forming. This helps the gram flour to cook.
- Microwave for another 1 minute and mix well.
- Be careful it will be very hot.
- Allow it to cool.
- When slightly warm add cardamom powder and sugar and mix well.
- Again allow it to cool. If warm or hot the ghee does not solidify and balls cannot be made.
- Once cooled, make into small equal balls and shape it into laddoos.
- Decorate it with grated pistachios.
- Store in air tight container for 3 to 4 weeks.
