- 2 cups All purpose flour (maida)
- 3/4 cup Semolina (ravva)
- 1/2 cup Yogurt
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- Oil for deep frying
Method:
- In a bowl add semolina and add water just enough to cover it and soak for 10 mins.
- In an other bowl add the all purpose flour, salt, sugar, yogurt and soaked semolina and mix well.
- Add water little by little and gather all the flour together to make a soft non sticky ball.
- Add 1 tsp of oil and again knead the dough well.
- Close a lid tight and leave for atleast 2-3 hours.
- Now make equal sized balls ( size of a big lemon).
- Roll each ball to a flat chapati shape and size disc.
- Heat oil and deep fry the disc on both sides to light brown.
- Remove from oil and place on a paper towel.
- Serve these hot bhaturas with chana masala
- Enjoy these soft bhaturas.
